This week in our Talk for Writing we have been learning about onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia is when words sound like the noise being described. For example ‘Crunch went the leaves.’ or ‘The cars smashed into each other.’ The children drew pictures and came up with their own onomatopoeia words.
